Overactive mind?

Whenever I try to go to sleep it may take me up to an hour or two to fall asleep. I have tried reading before bed, not watching tv or going on the computer before sleep but nothing I have done (other then using unprescribed drugs, i know i know) seems to work. I just lay in bed going through the events of the day thinking.  The act of trying not to think implies that I have to consciously not think which does me no good.

Thank you for the tips on the blog and the advice.  Im not sure how knowledgeable you are about HMO's but how would you suggest I find a doctor that I can see?
