Aortic Insufficiency

I have grade 2/4 aortic insufficiency and mild aortic sclerosis.  My RVSP is 42.  I have been advised to have an echo every 2 years and that an RVSP of 42 is not pulmonary hypertension.  Should I be followed more closely than every two years and am I inevitably headed for valve replacement?

It sounds like you have gotten good advise and an echo every two years is appropriate unless you develop worsening symptoms that would require an earlier evaluation.  An RV pressure of 42 is mildly abnormal and this can be followed with the echo.  If you develop more shortness of breath then you should be evaluated earlier.
