Long term recurring chest pains

37yo f,about 100lbs overwt, high BP since baby 2 yrs ago-controlled by metoprolol around 130/75,I have pvcs-Dr. suspected mvp years ago, lots of stress lately, father died at 48 heart attack was a heavy smoker.

Chest discomfort for a year now on&off also a list of new&odd symptoms(that almost seem neuro)that don't last but are noticible. They occur at rest&activity, not really a pattern but all new in the past year.1 type of pain is acute, pull pain left chest, comes on fast, lasts a few seconds.Pain 2 is a vague, dull, worrysome ache midsection, sometimes front to back,is most frequent&scary of the pains.Comes on fast or slow, lasts from seconds to 10 minutes&sometimes returns.Pulsated twice recently.Pain 3 is below sternum, can be intense or achy & spreads to shoulders, has only happened a few times but is probably the most painful.I also have an ache in my pit of my throat that worsens with stress-which has occurred less since I started taking Ranitidine.

My GP thinks not cardiac, suspects GERD,musculo,or psych.Got a 64 slice ct scan of my chest for my sanity.Plaque score 0%.He said that since it is a systemic disease I'm 100% good.??Also did a 24 hour holter monitor& king of hearts for 2 weeks but I was only partially symptomatic during.Found a few pvc's,a couple episodes of bradycardia, the rest showed normal sinus rhythym.

1 My dr.was satisfied by the ct scan alone-says there is no chance of the discomfort being angina/cardiac.Should I trust that?I haven't seen much talk about people relying on ct scans for cardiac diagnosis,&not sure what to think about these seemingly good results.
2 Where should I go from here? From what I read here it almost seems as if I would need to have an angiogram to rule out cardiac,as I see people receive false positives from other tests.
3 Since this has been periodically occurring over an entire year with only a slight worsening of the symptoms,is it even possible for it to be cardiac or would I have had a heart attack by now?

with all due respect I don't understand why my question has gone unanswered - perhaps ignored. I went through all the trouble to get my symptoms worded down to 2000 words, I need answers to help me out BEFORE I see the doctor again.  TO me these questions seem well within the guidelines - please at least tell me if they are not. I could be dead...

Could you also clarify something for me...
Is is possible for the 64 slice scan to miss or not find atherosclerotic plaque blockages because don't have high calcium?  Can you explain?  Thanks so much!
