My healthy thirty four year old daughter was collecting her two children from school when she died of spontaneous disection of the left coronary arteria, her youngest child is five years old, no one can tell me why this happened to her, she had no heart disease, all the reports said she was perfectly healthy there was no reason for this to happen to her, she did not smoke she ate heathy organic food and had regular exercise, skiing surfing ect, I am still looking for a reason why this happened, can someone help me to understand.

Thank-You.

Spontaneous dissections of the coronary arteries can occur during pregnancy and also with conditions like hypertension and trauma.  It has also been reported in patient with collagen vascular disease.
