I'm pretty sure you are beebay,if_i_had you, carlot, Thompson383, Bluedog, people013, zuzzu, ajibdi, stinky534, idathunkit, tactac, help30439, cheeta_breeda, neegnomer, crabdaddy358, save_a_heart & sleepy_pete. That's quite a few screen names for 5 weeks, but I guess you need them when you ask the same question once or twice a week. This is the second time on this forum in 2 days.
Above is the kind of interaction you can get on the heart disease community, please give it a try. We are not doctors, but they have answered your questions so many times, always the same. Let someone els get a question on and join us in the heart disease community. As the doctors in the expert heart disease forum told you this week, what you are doing is an abuse of the forum and is affecting those that would like to ask questions too. Come to the heart disease community, we're not doctors but we are good listeners and you can ask all the questions you want.............
If you are not all those other screen names, please ignore my rant, but the questions re always the same.
You are explaining the same things I felt when I started working out again. I was over 300 pounds and in very bad shape plus I did not start working out again until I was 48 years old. Your distolic number is low, but it can be due being too heavy and sleep apnea. Low blood pressure is usually defined by blood pressure below 90/50 and is not treated unless you have symptoms, like you are. I can tell you I was in the same shape, at times my blood pressure would drop at times as well. Unfotunately, my problem was high blood pressure. Remember that when you exercise, your heart will push blood out to the small capillaries in the large muscle groups in your extremities which will lower your blood pressure significantly soon after exercising so make sure you take your blood pressure before or well after you work out.
I can tell you that when I started exercising and lost some weight I started feeling much better. I have lost 70 pounds in 18 months by doing 45 -60 mins of cardio daily. I am sleeping better and my tolerence to exercise is gettng better by the day. The more weight I lose the better I feel as well. Also, remember that a 300 pound man can be better conditioned than a 225 pound man so you have to be careful making a comparison.
Your blood pressure measured at home is good, keep tracking it and make sure you do it at the same time every day. Take the information to your doctor during your next appointment so they can see how it runs at their office compared to home. Mine is ALWAYS higher in the doctor's office than at home, it could be my family doctor, cardiologist, Rheumatologist or Orthopedic, it just does not matter. What did your doctor say about your resting heart rate and blood pressure?
Hope this helps, feel free to reach out if I can help.
Jon
I meant to ask what does the low diastolic withi my symptoms suggest? And is this really from just my weight? I had a stress test and echocardiogram
A low diastolic blood pressure can be a sign of anemia. A low pulse at can be a sign of sleep apnea. You should have your symptoms checked by your doctor.
