IBS Battle

I am struggling to eat anything!! Everything seems to trigger the bloating and cramps. Even when I eat noting for a long period of time, I get bloated. Some weeks are better than others, but I get these periods for about a week that I feel so bloated and it just doesn't seem to go away - not even with medication.  I have been to a specialist doctor who did blood tests and said everything was o.k. I even went to my gynie to see if he can't help me. I have eliminated wheat, gluten, dairy products, sugar and fruit from my diet.  I drink plenty of water, have normal bowel movement and eat small portions.  It is only when I only eat oatscakes (during the day) that I feel no bloating!  Help, this is soooo boring.  And I'm not losing weight - I excersise every day, I practically eat nothing and I'm not losing any weight. Please HELP!

ok here's the deal first unless u are allergic or a celiac there should be no need to come off all gluten products and if u did gluten is hidden in a lot of foods not just breads.gluten is also in oats.but a gluten free diet is without doubt a more healthy one ,just a lot more expensive in the long run .
in ibs it is genearlly not the food that is causing the problem but rather the rhythm control of the muscles in the bowel ,so smaller meals should have a better effect on bloating ,which is mainly trapped gas, also eat fruits there are very impotant for the body but eat in between meals not with the meal due to the sugar content ,,plenty of water ,wholegrain foods are best .

I cant eat fat, it's the worst trigger for my ibs. Try cutting fat out instead for a while.
Excersise makes my ibs act up very badly!! Any rigorous activity like mainly jumping or running a lot. Maybe you could try a different work out?

Good luck!!
