Who knew it was metformin that caused my gastro problems!!!
For over two years I've had many, many tests to try and find out why I had chronic diarreah and
the colonoscopy, endoscopy, thyroid tests, SIBO tests all came back clean with no bacteria or
signs of Colitis or Crohns. At my physical recently my doctor said to try stopping metformin (I've been
on it since 2014)....and guess what...yes, no more diarreah. With my A1C at 5.7% I'll try to maintain good
numbers through diet and excercise. I feel like I have a new lease on life!
