just observing.. what about gluten intolerance?

I have noticed many questions without any answers or any suggestions of possible of  gluten intolerance.
GI can cause a multitude of problems- from diarrhea, constipation, gas, bloating, rashes, depression...it goes on and on.
I was searching for a recipe when I came 'over here'.  I don't see a forum for GI or GF.  Maybe I was just not seeing it.....

It is actually true about gluten intolerance.  Do a search of tyramine intolerance, and when you see a link with an address to WHfoods, go to that one.  Gluten intolerance is a part of tyramine intolerance.  Tyramine intolerance is associated with migraines, but it is also associated with IBS--regardless of which way your IBS tends to lean.

Also, some natural medicine circles believe that IBS could possibly be undiagnosed or a less sensitive form of Celiac.  In any case, gluten intolerance that can't be found in the blood tests for Celiac and doesn't show up in any of those fancy tests does still exist.  BUT, be prepared for a lot of dismissal by conventional doctors.

I have Dyshidrotic Eczema, which is a specific type of eczema that gluten and dairy are known triggers for flare ups.  More so by natural medicine than by conventional medicine.  Once I stopped gluten and limited the dairy to a minute amount, I no longer get the miserable flare ups.  Now, this is where I appreciate my conventional PCP, because she has seen these flare ups, and she works in a clinic that is shared by the graduate doctors from the natural medicine university after hours with the same sliding fee that the university itself uses.  So, all the conventional doctors are considerate enough to listen to integrative medicine. She is considerate enough not to dismiss me if I say I have gluten intolerance, especially since she has seen the evidence for herself when this type of eczema would continue to be so stubborn and practically impossible to treat with all the various steroid ointments.  She took the most recent steroid ointment prescription off of my list of medications that they keep in their system that would allow other prescribing physicians in her team to authorize said prescriptions if the pharmacy calls their office.  This is because as long as I continue to stay away from gluten, this type of eczema won't flare up and I don't need the prescription any more.

I still think there is a possibility of undiagnosed Celiac, but if it is and stays undiagnosed, maybe I won't have the serious issues others have, because I really am strictly avoiding gluten.  I do a far better job of it than my brother who does have a measure of diagnosed gluten intolerance from the blood test for Celiac.  He is mostly good.  He has to be, though, for his son, who does have Celiac.  His daughter and his wife also have some measurable gluten intolerance.

Now, even if I really don't have Celiac, I definitely have IBS, and the page I referred to still agrees with your assessment that if you have IBS, you will likely feel better if you avoid gluten and dairy.  Some in the natural medicine community consider IBS to be a less sensitive form of Celiac, which is why I said what I said in the previous paragraph.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking but in addition to this community (the IBS community), we have a gastroenterology community (http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Gastroenterology/show/68), a celiac disease community (http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Celiac-Sprue-Disease/show/226), and many others.  I am the community leader of the gastroenterology community and IBS community, and I make sure every single question gets an answer within 48 hours (usually less than 24 though).  I don't visit the celiac disease community so I can't guarantee that all posts there get answered.
