I think the lab ref values (and their interpretation) you posted seem to be set very low giving perhaps a false sense of security to some patients, to my opinion, nonetheless, according to them, you are not anywhere near any danger zone with CKD at 85 mL/min (estimated)
It would be useful to have your serum creatine values,
so this way you could use an online GFR calculator, to verify
the CKD value and draw your own conclusions.
Here's a guide that I have been using (I do not have CKD
myself) but lab ref. ranges may vary:
Stage 1 Kidney Disease.
Healthy kidneys or kidney damage with normal or high GFR GFR LEVEL: 90 mL/min or more
Stage 2 Kidney Disease.
Kidney damage and mild decrease in GFR GFR LEVEL: 60 to 89 mL/min
Stage 3A & 3B Kidney.
Disease Moderate decrease in GFR GFR LEVEL: 30 to 59 mL/min
Stage 4 Kidney Disease.
Severe decrease in GFR GFR LEVEL: 15 to 29 mL/min
Stage 5 Kidney Disease.
Kidney failure GFR LEVEL: Less than 15 mL/min or on dialysis.
Try to relax and concentrate on making some lifestyle improvements, so you can enjoy a healthy life.
Optimize your diet to be as kidney friendly as possible,
try some Yoga and Qikong, Breathing meditation etc.
And get tested frequently to monitor kidney function
and trending.
Best wishes,
Niko
