Phosphorus (inorg) levels

I recently got a full-body profile done and my phosphorus level was 4.62. I'm a 32 year old woman. I had a problem with alcohol abuse for 3 years, and I also became obese over this period. I got the tests done one week after I sought help and quit drinking. Could these factors account for the increased level of phosphorus in my body? Is there a possibility it could reduce on its own as I pursue a healthy lifestyle? I don't think I have any symptoms as far as I can tell.
