Very small amounts of urine protein?

I am a 17 year old male, and just last year, i have been noticing that i have foamy urine. We went to the hospital, and my kidneys are perfectly healthy, creatin is normal and eveythring is normal, except that i have a trace amount of protein in my urine. I went back two months later, and no protein was found but this time my lower back hurt, so then they ordered a blood test and an ultra sound which showed perfectly normal everything. Finally the third time i went, still a very very small amount of protein was found. Bottom line, the doctor said nothing to worry about, but should i?

Many tall skinny males your age have mild microalbuminuria...if you are tall and skinny that that is reason, and your slightly elevated proteins are due to that not due to kidney problems, in which case nothing at all to worry about.
