Okay, please post back when you have the results of your testing. Good luck.
Sir thanks for ur quick and clear reply. sorry for being late to reply u. i dont have family history of cancer. the lumps are not painfull. i have these for 8 months. these are soft. the first doc whome i consult was a great surgoen. he cpnfirmed first, those are nerofibroma. anyway as u suggested i will have a sonogram or blood test....
As an example, someone was here with an inguinal bump. They had one doctor saying it was a node, another said it was a hernia. So going by touch is not conclusive, IMO - unless a neurofibroma is very, very soft and squishy.
Hi, the probability is that they are correct. I don't guess they can be 100% sure by feel or by location. I have no idea what a neurofibroma would feel like. Are you not wanting the needle biopsy?
There is also sonogram:
"Conclusions. Soft tissue diffuse neurofibromas have a characteristic sonographic appearance; therefore, sonography should be considered a useful tool in the initial screening of this disease."
http://www.jultrasoundmed.org/content/26/4/513.full
Or maybe this blood test:
"MIA is a potential biomarker for tumour load in neurofibromatosis type 1"
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3224593/
The probability is low that it is lymphoma, in that lymphoma wouldn't likely pop up all over and then each node stops growing. So a sonogram should definitely tell if they are nodes. Are they ever painful?
Do you have a family history of cancer?
Sir can u address my query plesse...
3 doctors said those lumps are fibroma, not a swollen glands. I have one each close of both arm elbow, one at chest, two on stomach, 3 ib back. Are these really fibroma or glands... I have these for 7 mobths
