Hi It does seem a bit long for results, but I'm not sure where you got it done etc. Family Doctors need to send out the blood to a lab so that takes longer then if you get the blood draw in the hospital with their own lab.
in some CBC blood test, part of it is done through a machine, so the computer analyzes the result, and the result come back quite quickly. The blood smear differencial done by the lab tech who puts the sample on the slide and counts the cells, looking for different cells etc takes longer.
Not sure what kind of tests your daughter had.
