Enlarged liver. What's next
Hi ok I'm very confused...I have an enlarged right hepatic lobe 20 cm in length it as 17.9 cm just five months ago no pain no sickness no anything recently told I have left lobe 8mm lesson. My doctor Sid it's fine I find this hrd to believe what should I do? Any suggestions please

I'm not a doctor but i wish I had paid more attention to my enlarged liver years ago when I was first diagnosed with it. Like you, my doctor at the time said it was no big deal, just a fatty liver. Now I have full blown Cirrhosis. Your situation may be different; however, I recommend 2 things:
1. Get a 2nd opinion.
2. Start eating a liver-friendly diet. You don't have to go hard-core (like me) but if you can refrain from eating a bunch of salt, sugar, and fried foods, it can't hurt. If you are overweight, I recommend a reasonable diet to lose the weight over time.
