High liver enzymes

I was recently released from the Cleveland Clinic without an answer. Sunday morning I was admitted due to severe adominal pain and nausea. They tested my liver enzymes and they came back 5,500 and 1,500. They gave me pain killers and within a day, the enzymes were back to normal and I felt fine. After doing just about every test possible with an exception of a biopsy everything came back ok. However this has happened 4 times within the last six months. If you have any ideas as to what is causing this rapid rise and drop in my enzymes I truly would appeciate it.
Thanks

sometimes the gallstones are not readily identifiable as they may be hiding in the common bile duct.  celiac disease can definitely cause liver disease but not in this pattern.

The doctors had checked for that also and found no signs of gallstones. I have type one diabetes and celiac disease. My BMI is 18.6.
