MRI report : Need more explainations please!

I had a LiveTx.  Stent was in the biliary duct, then was out after 3months.
What does it mean “heterogeneity” ?
What does it mean “narrowing versus collapse” ?
Could you expain those in layman’s words?


LIVER:  No abnormal enhancement noted.  There is heterogeneity of  the liver parenchyma on arterial post contrast images with no focal lesion.
MRCP: Right segmental biliary duct narrowing versus collapse is noted.

collapse i think would just be referring to a "closed" or "decompressed" duct which has no relevance

heterogeneity means not normal--there is probably a little inflammation there related to the biliary issue.  ther was probably a stricture that the stent took care of
