Three test?Is this name of the test?Looks like three different tests should be done. Please update the tests with their names or the results. We could use that information to analyze the case too.
Hi,
Today we went to Dharamshila cancer hospital delhi and doctor suggested same like you. As par doctor they will do three test ( I am not aware for that). After this test they will decide what to do. As par doctor its in primary stage and if possible can be treat by medicine but that depends on report.
Thanks
Thank you very much for your encouragement!I will sure update more information to Lalit as soon as I learn more about his question.
Good answer. As a member of the medhelp community, I'd like to thank you for taking the time.
Thanks a lot for your valuable suggestion. We are going to AIIMS Delhi for further treatment as referred by our doctor. I shall update on that.
Thanks again !!!
After seeing your uploaded reports,You need to do following things.
1.Correct Classification of Bronchial carcinoma. The report says C/W(compatible with)Bronchial Adenocarcinoma,a type of Non squamous cell carcinoma. But there are other subtypes like Acinar adenocarcinoma, Papillary adenocarcinoma,Bronchioloalveolar adenocarcinoma,Solid adenocarcinoma with mucin production with repeated Cyto histological examination by a pathologist.
Classification of Lung Cancer is very important to plan treatment or management.Since NSCLC are usually respond poorly to Chemotherapy and managed by surgery, sub types management varies depending on size of mass and its extension.Since every subtype has different rate of growth (fast or slow), location (central, acinar,Peripheral),extension (local or systemic),nature (pre malignant, malignant, benign), histocytological features analyzed at different stages (poor differentiation, well circumscribed),size (big, small, total spread in lungs),all of these factors determine prognostic values and success of any treatment.
2.Staging-Done accordingly to TNM classification and Stages are determined accordingly depending on above mentioned factors. Stages I,II,III or a,b,c etc.Staging is very important to determine changes and response to treatment depending on metastasis or invasions. This may indicate multi organ involvement or quality of healthy lung tissue etc.
3.Treatment-Multiple treatment options like Chemotherapy,Radiation, surgery, palliative care etc and each and every options has it own risk factors and complications leading to failure or success of the treatment.
All of the above mentioned pints are to be cleared out with out fail with your consulting Physician or Surgeon. This may not be a direct answer to your question since Lung Cancer has lot of clinical correlations to conclude whether it will be treated by medicine or surgery.Once you talk with your Doctor, then it can be planned accordingly.
Please keep us updated.Get some more questions if you have any.God Bless you!
