About Inter-Racial marriage/babies

Alrighty lets be honest. I know my granny my moms mom was one predjudice lady ( I am caucasian) my mom grew up that way has friends of all colors, blew a gasket when she found out my sis was dating a black guy( lets not get hung up on sematics ok ..African american) anyways, they really are happy. So I say more power to them. I think babies that are 1/2 black and 1/2 white have the prettiest color of skin. So Im getting at I am not predjudice. I would date a NICE man of any color ( once Im divorced and ready LOL)
My very good friend has twin boys age 1 they are so beautiful and smart. Yet the other day someone called them, innocent babies "oreos" makes me beyond mad.
The one and only time race or culture ever bothers me is it seems I get Drs who I cannot understand when they speak due to heavy accents. I ask questions and its important  to me to understand the answers. well I am rambling..be nice here folks but be honest. I am really interested in what ya all have to say.

One last word....today I received some infrmation, if you check it out your self you will be interested.. the site is........ demographic_problem.wmv(7.11B)   hope I got that right. it is relevant to cheries question, we are not having enough children In America we actually need the Illegal amnesty to happen the mexican illegals are Catholic and have a lot of children and continue to have them, if you go to this site you will see that Islam is the most dominating religion and will be more so in the future it is too late in most of Europe. Margy and Bold, I agree with you both regarding the issue with different churches and their own predjudices.  As both of you may know I have had issues with predjudice when it comes to a 90% black church and being a teacher in the children's church.  The parents discriminated against us for being white but the children did not care either way.  The children loved us because we had the love of Christ in our heart and loved them all very very much.  It took us a while to get past the hurt of being taken away from the children's ministry and many many days of tears and prayers of hope.  My hubby and I do not care whether you are white, black, brown, purple, yellow, or whatever color or background you come from.  I dislike ignorance and that is what happens in the world and is definitely something that will hopefully change some day but for now we must hope and pray that one day the ignorance will stop.  Bold is right it is more than a race issue it is a spiritual one.  If you Love like Christ loves us then their is no issue.  But, some just have a hard time believing that we all come from the same place.  

Cheri, Thank you for this wonderful post.  It is a blessing that so many people love each other no matter what!

They should if they truly love God! My church is a mixed church all are welcomed! Black,White,Hispanic,etc! We even have couples that are from different backgrounds that have mixed babies! Such a beautiful thing! 2 sum it all up this goes deeper than race margy! This is a spiritual warfare that we are up against! Things that we cannot see with the naked eye! Only through prayer & having a relationship jesus can we truly understand the wickedness of mans heart!!
