Comment on an article about faulty science

http://www.medhelp.org/child-health/articles/The-Vaccine-Autism-Hoax-Why-Didnt-We-Know-Sooner/116

How about that the Lancet is trash magazine which doesn't its prestigious rating. It published a scientific fraudulous article obviously not throughly checked and reviewed or else the reviewers were lazy and incompetent. If the original study had not been published in the Lancet it would have got no attention.

The man who provided the information in the first place to say there was a link between vaccinations and Autism went on to admit he made it up, in an effort to gain both noteriety and money for his research team. This man caused a lot of distress and false hope around the world. He was a professional and the Lancet is not to be blamed for his horrible trickery of the public.
His research papers were put into many other studies and became accepted as being real. It was only after he was found to be a fraud did he come forward.
The Lancet is highly valued in the medical field for providing doctors with the latest information. They can not be held responsible for innaccurate research, The time and money needed for any research takes years and years and many millions of dollars. The Lancet is a reporting mechanism not a research and development mechanism.
Their report is only as good as the information that they get from highly professional research teams and they certainly would not take Joe Average's ideas or research into their journal.

I owe you an apology here ,I have just  read that a superbug' discovered by western researchers has been named the " New Deli 'superbug  in order to make westerners fearful of medical tourism in India . The lancet jumped on board and began to spread the scare story   http"//www.thelancet.com/journals/l...)   Mainstream media CBS jumped on the bandwagon to spread the rumor .

I don't know much about the magazine, but I would not believe a claim that was made based off of only one study, which was obviously not replicated. People need to educate themselves on topics and not blindly follow a story based on one study. In order for something to be confirmed, the study needs to be replicated at least 2 other times with the same findings/conclusion. At least now more children are being vaccinated against horrible diseases.

This is a left wing article the Lancet is not a trash magazine ..I do agree that this should have been brought to the attention by media sooner, MSNBC and the other shows mentioned are left wing , MSNBC reports no real news happening in the  US and is almost a State run media source .we should be glad that at least now we know the truth and many will have their children vaccinated .
