Do you save cards and letters or throw them away? I used to keep them, but now will toss after a few months
What's your favorite room in your house? Why? My bedroom...I love to read before bed and curl up with the cats, Abbie and Lucie
Which relative - dead or alive - do you wish you knew better? My dad died about 20 years ago. I wish I had known him better. He was a good man, but never really shared much about himself.
Do you plan to be buried, cremated, cryogenically frozen or something else?
I plan on giving my body to the University of Maryland for research
1. Do you save cards and letters or throw them away?
I save and I save.....
2. What's your favorite room in your house? Why?
Living room downstairs - it's colder than the other rooms and I don't hear the refridgerator start, can spread my books all over the place la-la-la.... ta-ta-ta....
3. Which relative - dead or alive - do you wish you knew better?
I think that'd be all of my uncles lol
4. Do you plan to be buried, cremated, cryogenically frozen or something else?
My plan is .... I haven't considered that yet. I just hope my relatives can get a calm and peaceful start of their grief. I'd like to be cremated though, but I haven't got a will :-)
I hang on to em for awhile, then sort and pitch, except the ones from my Mom and Son, who are now deceased.
Favorite room in the house is my bedroom, it is all mine, all I need is a mini fridge and I could live there.
I wish I had known my grampa better before he passed.
When I am dead, I dont care what they do with me, as long as they dont waste money doin it.
1. Do you save cards and letters or throw them away? I've saved all the cards my son has made or given to me, as well as any special ones. I am finding I save less than I used to.
2. What's your favorite room in your house? Why? My kitchen. The cupboards were put into my 1930's house back in the 70's so don't have any adjustable shelves and all are painted white. However, it is the nicest kitchen I've ever cooked in. It has an island and I added a great bookshelf for my 100+ cookbooks and we put in a couple of pull out IKEA pantries for more storage. Eventually we'll replace everything with the white IKEA cabinets but will do one step at a time.
3. Which relative - dead or alive - do you wish you knew better? I wish I had known my Grandfather on my Dad's side better. As a child we were always scared of him. He was loud, opinionated, and was always taking out his false eye to gross us out. He passed when I was 8 years old. Since then I've heard what an understanding and intelligent man he was. He was a Borden's milk man - initially delivering milk by horse and carriage and then by truck. I look a lot like him too.
4. Do you plan to be buried, cremated, cryogenically frozen or something else? I'm really struggling with this decision. I'm leaning towards cremation though but don't want it right away - still want to donate organs, have aa normal funeral, etc. and then they can do it.
save all the homemade ones, save the ones from elder relatives not knowing if I will get one next year or not ( yeah I know kinda morbid)
My Pink living room w Monet prints..the only girly room in house
both my granddads never met either
how about none of the above donate all I can to organ donation and the rest to science.
1. save letters - am a squirrel
2. the room where my PC is located of course is my favorite!
3. ? giving this one some thought
4. buried

1. Do you save cards and letters or throw them away? I save most! they mean alot to me they are from my family bk home so i like to have them!
2. What's your favorite room in your house? Why? My PC & probably cus im addicted to the net! LOL!
3. Which relative - dead or alive - do you wish you knew better? I guess my dad i feel like theres so many unanswered questions i wanna know but Im too scared to talk with him!
4. Do you plan to be buried, cremated, cryogenically frozen or something else? Probably just buried! My family seems to be going the cremation way but i dunno kinda freaks me out!!
1. I haven't saved every single one, but I have saved every handwritten letter I have received and also cards with special meaning I have saved. I keep them all in a box.
2. Our living room. It's where me and my husband spend a lot of time together cuddling, talking, reading, or watching tv. It's such a cozy room with an open beam ceiling that I love!
3. My Nonna (grandmom). She only spoke Italian, and although I could understand a LOT of what she was saying, I couldn't speak Italian very well. She lived with my parents from the time I was about 9 until she passed away last year. So while I lived with her for 10 years of my life ( i got married at 19 and moved out), I really didn't feel like I knew her all that well. I wish I had learned Italian better, so we could have had so many wonderful conversations.
4. I plan to be buried. I don't want my body messed with in any way.
Let me answer my own questions....
1. Yes I pretty much can say I about 98% of cards and letters that were given to me...Cards touch me, they bring joy to people and joy to me...and well letters do the same...I would never get rid of them.
2. This has changed most recently...I had a room in back on the house that my husband made into my office-slash-library.Love it. however now that I am taking of my 17 year old nephew that has became his room. So know my favorite is my bedroom
3. My pawpaw on my Dad's side. He lives in Tenn. and we moved we i was very little.
Then my dad moved back but we diddn't. Now he's dead....
4. I would say buried but my husband was cremated so not sure just yet
