I would change my lack of courage to chase my dreams. Maybe I'll work on that :)
That's a hard question. So many things. But maybe I should have seriously pursued my art career earlier in life.
Maybe.
Do I have only one choice? LOL
I like asking the tough questions as they come to mind.
You have as many choices as you want. Your artwork is really beautiful.
I would work at being more like my mother, quiet and thoughtful, instead of like my dad, headstrong and mouthy. I always got an opinion about everything and do not hesitate to share it. Even when no one wants to hear it. (shaking head in disgust).
Id ban war...make a barter system come back trade the mideast food for oil etc,,make worldwide health care equal,,if all the resources we have in this planet wher divided by need not greed no one would be hungry or sick with out health care..I guess Id make it one nation,.
well fudge MJ just read cant be world peace,,,ok new answer Im gonna change my world by going back to school to be a patient tech I wiil change my patients lifes my givng them nothing but the best care while in hospital,.,,,
I would change the adults focus, to looking at what would make the world better for their babies.
Up until about 50 years ago this is the way the world worked. Adults focused on making the Earth better for the future generations. Suddenly, after thousands of years of humanity, this has changed to be "what will make me, my own personal self, more comfortable right this instant".
Get back to what will make the world better for our kids. Please. Revert back to that, and all will be well again.
Whatever each individual adult thinks - there are no boundaries - whatever each individual adult believes will make the world better for the coming generations.
Well I used to think about "changing the world" and the important thing for me after a while was that I tried to leave myself out of the picture and just say that something was done and that I achieved it but there was no motive of becoming famous or self gain. I thought that was a reasonable compromise. I didn't think it was possible realistically though. As a young person I was always into scientific research and biology and wanted to accomplish something in that area. Now as a potential co-author of a study on a new treatment for schizophrenia I can say that will be achieved. But I still have to make sure my motive is to help others and not get my name known.
The world and we are changing sometimes you ( I ) wanna make it go faster but what I have started to learn is that is not much we really can do except maybe be still and listen.
ca
PS everything thats needed to be done is already done nothing to add its fullfilled at calvary cross.
I would see the world through a childs eyes ,all the pain and all the love , and I would walk in their shoes.
I would make it to where there would no longer be child abuse.
if i could change just one thing in this world ,...
i would change the mental health ,.i would give them more d,rs, to work with people that are suffering great hurt and pain in this world ,....there is not enough help in this world for these kind of people it might keep families from loosing there children ,.moms,.dads,,,brothers ,sisters,..aunts.uncals nieces nephews .friends ,
suicide is a war in itself in this world ,........
Ok.. for my part, I think I would want everyone in the world to be healthy. This includes mind healthy and so there would be no mental conditions.
It was a toss-up between being healthy and self-esteem. If everyone had a good self-esteem, I believe the crime rate would drop, people would be happier and take better care of themselves.
Well I think all Americans are interested in some form of national healthcare insurance but it depends how its set up but I do believe it will be addressed in this administration. Its really up to all of us to put in our two cents worth whether it be an e-mail or letter on what we want done. I don't want to start a thread on it until they have some working plan to discuss/debate to begin with though. Many diseases and disabilities are treatable now that weren't before. Its a matter of people getting the health care and services they need. I would say that as treatment advances that almost all forms of psychiatric disabilities will be fully treatable and sooner than people think. Some of these things that people want can be achieved realistically on a large scale by people working together and on a small scale by community activism which is something that brings together people of all political backgrounds on issues of common ground that affect everyone.
I would bring the love and word of God back into the world, and the love for our planet back.
Two things that upset me is the fact that my kid sister was sent home from school due to wearing a shirt that said "what would Jesus do" and then forgot and wore a hat the next week that had a cross on it that said "my way of life" and was kicked out for 3 days and told that a Bible or religious apparel was not permitted in public schools & asked her why she insisted on being a trouble maker when she "used to be" such a good girl. What a shame.
The second one is seeing trash laying around everywhere and people littering. People just don't seem to care unless it's in there own yard. And some don't even care there either.
Enough said. I think I'll be quiet again now. LOL
I am trying to become more conscious in my words and actions to better humanity as a whole. It has to start somewhere!
1. practice recycling
2. say hello to random people, practice kindness
3. stress education to all young peolple my children their friends.
4. conserve gas turn the termostat down.
5. practice charity
6. hold doors for the elderly, show them respect.
7. take good care of myself so i can be of use to others
8. respect my body eat healthy exercise, Id ont srink or smoke
9. be a role model for my children
10. help the homeless. be it donationg clothing or working the soup kitchen
I would ask to see things thru my childrens eyes so that I could have more patience with them. Thats all they want......my time. Life gets in the way sometimes, and all they really want is my time.
I think I am gonna go hug my kids now :)
