Thinking of what I wrote earlier:
"And he never will ride any broncos no more"
He was an amazing songwriter as was his mother too. Elvis, 3 Dog Night, Ringo, Steppenwolf and the list goes on were just a few of the ones who benefited from his music talent. I figured you would know this one!!!
I know the song writer, lots of bands preformed his work.
I did have to "Google" this, however; had to, neat lyric I did not recall.
thanks - Pip
(BTW: They don't abuse it, never gonna lose it; I can't refuse it. ;-)
(my favorite of his as performed by Fido Trio Nocturne)
the cat was cool and never said a mumbling word........
1. Clock strikes twelve and moon drops burst...
"Astronomy" by Blue Oyster Cult off of the album "Secret Treaties" from 1974, which song Metallica did cover on "Garage, Inc" in 1998 ,-)
2. It's only been an hour, since he locked her in the tower...
"16th Century Greensleeves" by Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow on their self-titled album of 1975, with Ronnie James Dio on power-vocals
3. Tell your children not to walk my way...
"Mother" by Danzig off the self-titled album 0f 1988, some of the "darker" music I like.
------------
Music has been much a part of my life, mostly as a listener; from 50's Rock and Roll to Grindcore Metal, Classical from Baroque to modern era, Country and Western (particularly "Cowboy" singers), Bluegrass, swing, jazz, blues, folk...not so much disco, rap or modern corporate country.
Hey Pip, you need to tell us if Sarah & Cherie are right...let's keep this rollin'
Sarah or Cherie, if you want to go ahead and do another, while we wait for PIP, don't think anyone would mind...
