Please pray for my family

You all won't be hearing from Alienshadow for a few days probably, for those of  you that do not know, that is my brother. He is the oldest one of three. I am the youngest and only girl. I cherish my brother, and he is really special to me. He is 12 years older than me, so when I was growing up, and even now, he is my idol. He has been very successful at life, and he just got caught up in everything and made a mistake, now he's really beating himself up for it. All I am really asking is that all of you that know Alienshadow, to please pray for my family and my brother.

Thanks everyone for your concerns. I have been in Daytona for the past couple of days with no access to a computer. Alienshadow is still away from the computer. Thanks for all of the prayers....we really need them. He will get back on his feet, I just wish there was a way I could express how much I love him. I'm just ready for him to get well and be back with his family..I know they miss him dearly and ask about him alot.

I'm hoping for an update. Life's too short to dwell on past mistakes. I'm sure no pep talk in the world can help, but I hope that things get better.

I have a visual image of life being like a long hiking trip. We walk through some difficult paths, trip over rocks, get lost in the woods, stray off the path, get back on, and just keep going and enjoy the scenery along the way.

Or life being like a story book. Each chapter closes and another one begins. Maybe this is a turning point of some sort.

Thank you so much for posting this!  I have been worried, since he hasn't been on here in days!

alienshadow, I can so relate, buddy. I tend to beat myself up a lot, too. I was just told it's because I'm probably a perfectionist. It makes sense to me now. I want everything to be perfect and alright and when it's not I get anxious and down. But none of us are perfect. We all make mistakes. The important thing here is to know that you are cared for and that we are all here for you, ok? God bless you, my friend. Come back soon. You have a wonderful sense of humor and great personality.
