oh he did April he was a gorgeus guy his dancing was wonderful, I met him once in Santa Monica , when they were making a movie, I forget which one , well I say met him he was introduced to a bunch of drooling fans .I happened to be there. He was voted the worlds most sexy guy in 1991 I believe..sad but his movies live on to make us happy .....

Yes, after battling pancreatic cancer for 2 years Patrick passed away today at the age of 57.

I was really hoping he'd beat the odds since he was able to continue working for so long.  You will be missed Patrick.

I too was sad to hear about his passing.  Does anyone know if he had any children?  I was really surprised to learn he sang the one song in Dirty dancing.

i am really really really sad about him. i was sad about the other celebrities but he was one of my favorite actors. such a handsome, talented man. and his movies are such classics (i love dirty dancing and ghost).

It is so sad to learn how many people pass away from cancer. Cancer is horrible!!! Patrick Swayze you will always be remembered. RIP

I was so sad to hear that he died! I loved all his movies and always wished I could be the one in the movie with him! What I wouldn't give to have one night with him.

Me too! I just read Yahoo! I loved his movies so much!! He was a very good actor!!
and yes the one sang he sang from the movie Dirty Dancing was so good! Even my DH couldnt believe it was him singing it!!

No he didn't have any children.  I feel so bad for his wife, Lisa.  They've been married since she was a teenager, I believe.  

How difficult it must be for her to go on without him when they've been together nearly her whole life.

I have Dirty Dancing on tape.  It's one of my favorite movies.  

I am picturing Patrick surrounded by God's bright beautiful light, just like in Ghost...

I also feel sorry for his wife.  It is such a raity to survive stardom and marriage.  I also have dirty dancing and ghost also on tape.  Dirty dancing was and is my favorite movie. I am sure he will be missed.  my thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family.

Did anyone see the Barbara Walters special she did tonight on Patrick Swayze? It was beautiful. What a beautiful love story. The love he and his wife had is rare indeed. I wish her well. I can imagine she is heartbroken right now.

I have mixws feelings, because I liked him as an actor, especialloy in "Ghost". On the other hand he was an irresponsible individual who was intoxicated on June 1, 2000 when he landed his 1978 Twin engine Cessna 414, N414PS, in a housing development, smashinhg down a few light poles, nearly killing a family walking along the road. Then he paid some construction workers to hide the booze, and disappeared for 24 hours to get his alcohol level down. His explanation of the "crash" was absurd. He stated he "lost pressurixation". Fine. Continue the flight. You don't require pressurization at the altitude he was flying anyhow. The NTSB gave him a lesson by entirely dissambling his airplane, which, with a few on site repairs could have been flown out. This wasn't a minor mistake. His conduct warranted imprisonment. but, given his star status, the only people charged were the poor construction workers who got rid of the booze.
