SINCE FINDING MEDHELP...

i was just wondering if anyone feels that since they found this site...IF they feel that it has interfered with their family life?  do you find that you spend more time on your computer talking to forum friends than you do with, say your spouse or your children?  do you think that you discuss things with "strangers" that you should actually be sharing with your spouse instead?

for the women.  how would you feel IF your husband was on the computer talking to random women on this site, sharing stories about you and your life?

how does your spouse REALLY feel about the time you are on the forums?

Sometimes my husband gives me grief for being on here so much but that is only because before I had MedHelp he was always into his World of Warcraft on the net.  He would do that and I could then watch whatever I wanted on the TV.  For a while it was good because we both have laptops and sit on either end of the couch doing our thing.  Now he is bored with his game and his other sites so is looking for more attention from me!  I am spending time helping people who went through what I did but he worries that many of my friends on here are quite sick with cancer and that it will depress me.  I've just stopped telling him things about it.

I must admit that since finding MH, I have neglected my housework! A Lot!  I let the laundry go longer, and longer, between washings, but the up side of that is that we are wearing clothes we forgot we had!!!  ((giggles))  I don't think I neglect the family, but I think they would argue with me on that point.! They have threatened to assassinate my computer!  How ever,  I have to say that it isn't all about MH!  I also belong to some other things, that I do spend time on.  Not as much as my MH, because MH is more spiritual for me.  I spend a lot of time praying for my friends here.  My family would never say anything about that, becuz they to pray with me for my MH, friends.  I do have a pretty great hubby. When we first got the lap top that he now uses, he spent a lot of time on it.  But he was figuring things out.  So then when I got my lap top for xmas I knew what he was doing becuz I had to do the same thing.  I just kind of had to figure things out on my own.  I am still learning.  I hadn't thought about it until I saw this question today.  I probably do spend more time on here then I would if it wasn't for MH, but I don't think that it is wrong, becuz the Lord brought me hear.  I know that without question.  So who can argue with that?  NOT ME!

I live alone but i dont sit here all day I have a partner that thinks this is not good for me having cyber friends,he thinks there might be predators, so i said i would get the net nanny!
I only get on here when I am alone,and need a break from my chores it feels like theres someone around,especially when you get an answer in an instant.Your day is my night!!

My job has a lot of down time lately so I like coming on MH and reading about stuff.  The company I work at is having some trouble....don't know how much longer I'll be here.

I've learned a lot about relationships, parenting & health on MH.  There are some really good people on here and I like reading what they have to say.  I like the debates too.

If I ever get another job that is more stimulating, I probably won't be on here so much.  I don't see that happening anytime soon though....

I could never be on here while at work...or else my boss would strangle me. I have about 5 minutes for lunch... so I come on here during the wee morning hours instead between finishing my nocturnal work and waking up my son before another crazy day starts. My life would be easier if I did NOT come on here, and still I do. So I would like to see the MH addiction forum...just kidding.

I dont think it does...im usually on here while at work lol like right now. When im at home i get on, but not all day like during the week. Actually hubby is on his dang bike website all the time, but usually he goes on in the mornings when im still in bed or while im making dinner. So it doesnt matter he is not taking up family time, plus once the baby comes he wont have much time for that.

This is the most time I have spent on the computer since Feb.. I'am having a lot of fun tho.. Should I feel warned? J/K  My husband doesn't seem to mind at this point. He is watching T.V. anyway. :)

I like this site better then myspace actually .. my boyfriend doesnt think i spend to much time on here but i could spend more time with him :) medhelp is the best its very addicting plus i dont live near my family

No it ha not interfeared with my family life one little bit! My husband thinks its nice that I have people to talk to when hes not around! He works nights as well as two jobs so he likes that when the baby is in bed im not so lonely!

I use MH when my husband isn't home, or if he is playing his stupid Playstation game.

since this covers about 23 hours a day...you can easily figure out why I'm here so much.

Plus, being here distracts me from looking at the rest of the house, the housework, the bills, shopping, etc etc.

I'm not a girlfriendy kind of person.  I'm a loner.

I am secure enough in my relationship that my husband can come on this site. It is not like this site is a sex chat room...That I would have issues with.

really cant say my ex wolked out when i goit sick... all i know is i feel much better at times when i can come on here and chat with someone whos has walked the same type road i am walking?? i know that really doesnt answere ur question, just my thoughts
