I used to love going to the zoo. I like seeing wild animals that I normally would never get to see otherwise.
I should mention that I forgot another phobia... clowns! They just creep me out.
I forgot my biggest phobia/hate Zoo's seeing those animals in cages freaks me out ,last time I was a kid I watched a huge lion at Regents park zoo in London pacing up and down up and down .poor thing, ..
I really don't like talking toys. I was given a Furbi as a child and that toy creeped me out! I remember taking the battery out of it and it had still made noise. ugh, they are just weird toys.
I cant say I hate it, but I cant eat the egg otherwise , I am sure that little phobia came from my mom ..
I dont go to hospital ..so it has never arisen , ask them to leave it open a bit I guess. lol another pet hate ..this is a throw back from childhood, you know the little bit like the unbiblical cord on an egg when you crack it..well I have to remove it before I can cook/eat the egg .......
margypops
what do you do when you go to hospital? they always shut the doors at night to your room so you can sleep, just curious
me have to sleep with it open always have done , no closed doors ...
Oh I always sleep with the door closed; I don't consider it a phobia, I just like it quiet in my room to sleep.....
I have to sleep with my door closed because when i was young i use to see things at it. So no matter where I live I sleep with my door closed of course this gives way to the fear that im going to die in my sleep and no one will know -_- not funny really
I can't believe I left out the dark, and that someone is in the closet. I never close my closet and I also always sleep with the tv on.
I'm scared of spiders, clowns, and that my brother will do something stupid, and wind up dead.
When I was old enough to drive 10 years ago, I was scared to do so. I had seen to many of those MADD cars and was scared that I would die if I drove. I am 26 years old and have yet to learn how to drive. I am going to learn this summer though, and then my dad will go in a a car with me.
I'm with you, am always afraid of having no money at the end of the budget month and come very close sometimes!
Have you noticed that sometimes phobia's are a contradiction ..I hate high bridges but have sailed over and into big waves on the ocean ...go figure
Hubby is terrified of spiders..will call me to kill them..hehe
I for some reason have always liked to LOOK at them..always..I would go into the woods..find the weirdest ones with little horns on their heads/backs..and all different colores..and I'd get them inside jars and go home and try to identify them and such..
What a weirdo kid..haha (including black widows..) I was a very deprived child I think looking back..if this was a past time.
I had a neighbor kid I used to babysit..he was TERRIFIED of driving in the car going over a bridge..if there was any type of water underneath..he would scream and cry. (a small stream would do it.) He was 4..don't know how he could have that phobia so young!
Me..I'm afraid of death..I think about my family and I believe I would just be destroyed if/when something happens to one of them. My parents are elderly so I think about this ALL THE TIME.
Yup had to go over a bridge today that ole phobia is still there ..
snakes and high bridges and closed in spaces for me!
I had one in my garden yesterday am still trying to find out if it was a Rattler , my cat was pouncing on it ..I put a pic up of it on my site .....it slid out onto the land next door we are told if we think its a Rattler to call the animal control for help ............
Snakes. My cat brought a live one in the house and I was on the bed screaming. My kids came in and died laughing. My daughter picked it up, played with it a while and let it go. She likes them. UGGGG. I don't watch snake movies because I'll dream of them,
Hilarious Margypops!
I hate mice and bats. One time I took sheets off the line at dusk and went out to show an apartment. When I returned the babysitter was on the front step with the kids, all refusing to go into the house because a bat had gotten in on the sheets. I had to lie, and told the kids that I got it out. I sat up all night with a broom waiting for it to appear, even my husband went to bed. The next day at lunchtime my 3yr old was watching TV and screamed "its back" and flew out the front door. There was the bat flying around the living room. Thankfully it landed on the curtain rod of the patio door, so I was able to whack it from behind and it flew outside, witnessed by the kids and the neighbors.
ooohhh penswriter when did you get pinnned down or handcuffed ...ooohhh
i'm absolutely terrified (i completely freak out) of clowns, spiders, snakes, closed in spaces and being held down. (such as handcuffs or restrained in anyway...just makes me really panic)
I am deathly afraid of heights, mice, insects (except for ladybugs), birds, and all amphibians. The scalyness just grosses me out.
I live in Australia in the city, and yeah we get a few spiders every now and then, but honestly I've never seen a snake. So really, unless you go into bush type areas snakes arent too bad.
I am scared of heights, spiders, and snakes. I was bite by a brown recluse spider when I was a teenager and you can still see the marks on the top of my foot.
I used to want to go visit Australia until I watched shows on discovery channel and saw all the poisonous spiders and snakes that are there.
Oh yeah I also hate driving over bridges! Specially ones high up in the air. I am terrified I am going to fall off the bridge!
