Story telling

Hey guys, as an avid reader/story teller, I was wondering what was the best, really best /exciting/unusual thing that you have done in your lives, what story is it ,funny ,happy occasion or happening you will always remember , and want to tell on to children and grandchildren, gives us a story about something super you have had happen or have done.

Well okay I wanted to put a cheery one up here but this true story comes to my mind..several years ago, we took a road trip from England to North Africa, actually Tangiers, we had 4 children with us and trailed a small sailing boat, the love of the DH life so it went everywhere except to bed with him, sooo, the trip across the channel on the ferry was good, even the drive acrosss France to The border of Spain was good ,it got wonderfully warm, the kids fought most of the way in the car, we spent most of the drive across to Algerceires, stopping to mend the tyres on the trailer, (the heat kept busting them) and throwing a kid out ,to stand in time out for fighting, boy can kids fight in a small space, After much trauma we got to Tangiers, parked the car to take a break, decided that we would take it in turns to take 2 kids each to sight see and get some Grub...bad idea ..always stick together, whilst the DH disappeared with 2 dear little kids...I sat in the car and decided to take the 2 I had outside the car for some air, I dont know why... it was steeming hot... Whilst outside  I noticed a couple of rangy scraggyy 'dogs'looking at me, being an English dog lover, I called and they looked at me hesiatingly, then loped over, I threw some sandwich I had with me as they were hungry, before I could say Jack Robinson,, a gang of dogs appeared, I  mean a "Gang' well I then thought in my bubble brain.... oh oh time to get in the car so we piled back in and sat there , the dogs crept forward... before I knew it they were jumping on the car, on the boat, shreiking and howling, it was a pack and they looked like wild wolves!!!!well I started to yell loudly for help, hooting the car horn , I made a big noise. suddenly some Men appeared dressed in long white clothes I am not used to Muslim attire so they looked pretty scary aswell, they threw stones at the dogs and drove them off, then they yelled at me. Well I had another half hour trauma of thse yelling guys till the Dh turned up, I had locked myself into the car and couldnt tell what they wre saying.. THe End ..So, wasnt that a long story..I have many more if you want to hang around all day,No.... okay another time maybe ...LOL

i have a few that range from exciting, too funny too scary.

i remember when i was 9 my family and i (and a few really close friends) took a 2 week camping trip to the wilds of canada. very awesome.

when i was 18 i was in a riding accident, broke a few bones and spent 3 weeks in the hosptial.

when i was....well i could go on and on......lol...

we have camping property up north, everyone was still in 20s most had no kids, It was 4th of July weekend, we invited 1/2 the neighboorhood, will call it Georgetown not real name. so everyones really drinking it up.

1st vist to er,,,,Vinnie tried to jump the camp fire missed.
2nd trip to er.....Johnnydrove a 4 wheeler into a tree
3rd trip to er....Ryan cut hand w a ax

we went 10 times ....the hospital people were like you people from Georgetown are nuts, Everyone in the whole subdivision remembers that, we had a bad luckweekend, yet still had tons of fun was really crazy
