I live in Calif and I guess you can say I'm pretty typical in that I will be at the beach this summer. haha. Though a group of friends and I are trying to plan a trip to the Florida keys. :) We'll fly to that one, it's a bit far to drive.

Just kick started my broomstick to head to the sun,low and behold theres a volcano spewing dust and muck all over the place and i ended up down south in Australia  LOL

AAwww sorry Teko, we're in autumn(fall) now and it doesnt matter what the season is a holiday is good anytime of year!!  This year i really want to go and see some snow,but i will have to wait a couple of more months for that:(  I missed out last year!!

Going to Alaska for the summer, will fly (if the damn volcano in iceland stops misbehaving) cant wait.... :-)

My father in law passed away this past winter and we will be having a memorial service for him up in Timmins (9 hour drive) this summer.  We will stay with family and do some cottaging at the same time.  I also have my 30 year high school reunion so will be driving to that one of the weekends.  Can't wait!

We are driving and going back to the same cottage on Lake Erie that we've stayed in the past 6 years.  Well . . .  actually I've gone there for about 24 years as my grandparents lived on lake and once they were gone, my family stayed in these same cottages.  And then once my mom was gone, I stayed in a cottage with my sister and her kids.  And now . . . I stay in a cottage there with my kids.  Very nostalgic and very fun.  My boys love it.  It is a little "rugged" but so familiar at this point, no one notices!

Driving to Washington for the big Tea Party  March to the Capitol Building ..thats it for this year unless something comes up later in the year .. ...

I'm moving this summer, and that activity will take the place of a vacation.

I'm not going anywhere but I am going to have my parents come visit and I hope my sister! It will be exciting to see them again. :) I haven't seen my parents in 3 years and my sister in 5 years! I can't wait!

I usually go to Ohio in the summer for a couple of weeks. I am still thinking about it all. The economy has touched my household and I really need to spend wisely right now. If I do go, I will drive as it only takes a couple tanks of gas, but sitting in the car all that time is awful! I will probably just stay put.
