What was the best place that you have ever took a vacation to?

I've traveled alot. When I was younger my older sister was in the military and stationed in Europe so my family would visit her every year. I have also traveled alot (mostly curising) in the 20 years that I have been married. Out of all the places I've been to I have 2 favorite. Aruba is my favorite island. It is beautiful and the weather is never too hot. I also fell in love with Lucerne, Switzerland. The mountains beautiful, and the people are all friendly and beautiful also. Great place to visit.
My favorite vacation was when I was 13 and went on the Disney cruise to the bahamas and Florida. It was so awesome to see the beautiful crystal clear blue water.
before the boys came along i took vacations 2x's a year. of all the places i've been....i'd have to say washington, d.c. i LOVE history. i'm a total history buff and with greg being in the marines (i come from a family FULL of marines) he was able to get me to places i wouldn't normally have been able to go to. d.c is just beautiful, full of education (i love learning to), history and just a lot of good places to eat as well.
if you're not into learning....i'd have to say ..........canada. yes canada. when i was younger my mom and her then husband took me, my brother and a bunch of family friends on a 2 week camping trip. and this was not the typical rv going out to eat every night camping trip. this was deep wilderness no one else around for hundreds of miles camping. we had our canoes, kiyakes and tents. we actually had to have rangers fly over head once a day to make sure we were where we said we'd be. (yeah we were that deep in the wilderness) it was AMAZING. we saw bears, moose, wolves, loons, eagles, hawks and i can't even remember what else! the scenery was amazing, the lakes were amazing to swim in. at night listening to the loons and wolves singing....it was just the most amazing thing i'd ever experienced.

I do a lot of traveling but my favorite vacation thus far was St. James Place in Antigua. The resort was right at the tip of the island so the ocean was on one side and the gulf on the other. The weather was perfect, the food fantastic, the service superb, and the resort and accommodations were gorgeous!
The best vacation I have ever been on was going to Sandals in the Bahamas!! It was so awesome and you can't be the all-inclusive route!! It makes it so easy to splurge and have a good time.
I also had a great time in Eureka Springs, this past November we went there because we could not handle our first holiday without our precious son Cooper. To our surprise he must have really wanted us there because he sent us home with his baby brother due to arrive in August!! Also Eureka in the fall is just gorgeous!!
I say almost any vacation is well worth. Expect for Disney World at Christmas.....way to many people!!!!

I have been and lived in so many states. But, I guess for vacation, my favorite was the Oregon Coast. I love the ocean, being near the water is so relaxing for me and I love all the coastal sights and sounds such as the call of the Sea Gulls and hearing the water as it crashes on the shore. Yep, can't beat it.
I have been to all kinds of places like Bali (very pretty) and Tokyo (very crazy) and yes, the caves in Kentucky (very exciting) and the Swiss Alps (nice skiing).
However, the only places I ever felt really happy at were Chicago and also the Florida on the Gulf side.

Hawaii. I couldn't believe how balmy it was, not too hot or too cool, just right! And as soon as we'd walk out of our hotel we could smell the sweet smell of flowers. There were flowers everywhere! All kinds, some you'd never see outside of Hawaii. We were right on the beach, too, and the water was crystal clear. I couldn't believe how beautiful and warm it was. I would definitely go back! :)
What was the best place that you have ever took a vacation to? - So far I have traveled to New York, Virginia, Kentucky, California, and Canada. I believe that the best place that I have Vacationed to was Kentucky.
Why? - I really enjoyed visiting Dinosaur Land in Cave City and I also enjoyed the wide open scenic valleys. I love the Country and I enjoy the great outdoors as well.
