Don't have any green for St. Pat's day? AV Raffle #5 (March)

Emerald Love. It's green, thus making it perfect for St. Patrick's Day

Basic Rules:
- Pick a number between 1 and 1000
- You only get to post your number once
- the number was selected at random by a random number generator.
- Winner gets to upload the photo to their profile and enjoy the benefits of owning their own "hard to grow" blooming African violet with no hassle of having to water and fertilize. (Click the image on the post, right click, save and upload.)

Deadline will be March 17 12:00 am. Any entries marked after that won't be counted.

This may be my last AV raffle for now. I may start it up again later if I get enough requests, but I'm thinking of taking a break from it for a few months.

I hope everyone had a good St. Patrick's day. :)

Thanks for playing. The winning number is 909. The closest number was 948 which is babypooh.  Babypooh gets permission to right click, save and upload this photo to her profile.

What time zone is 12:00AM?  Medhelp is international, so you could go with Greenwich Meantime (GMT)?  During daylight savings time, GMT is 4 hour ahead of EDT and 5 hours ahead of central time zone.  I dont' think GMT does daylight savings time.  How lucky for them.

I'm thinking of extending the deadline for another day. How about 8:00 Pm today, the 17th. I'd like to get a min of 10 bids to make it more fun.

How would that do?

Just like any game, there's the possiblity for cheating, but it's not the same. There's no fun to be had by cheating.  Also I have pretty good memory. If I come across someone who has my photo and didn't win, I'll send them a pm kindly asking to remove it. If they don't  then I can report to medhelp and tell them they had no permission to upload my photo.

Then medhelp can remove it...  The winner gets my permission to upload the photo and the bragging rights to winning the raffle.

Yes I am aware of this, but I expect most people to play by the rules. It wouldn't be quite the same to just steal the photo and upload it.... Also it would be easy to find out if someone didn't play fairly.

I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but a friend sent me your pic b/c she thought the flowers were lovely.....you DO know that all one has to do to have the pic is to right-click on it and click "save picture" right?

We're getting down to the wire here. I'd like to have at least five people posting to make it worth my time judging.
