I get my email through Yahoo,so to get it, you have to go through the main page...so I always see all the 'big news'. I just saw that he died when checking my mail. That is so sad, but he did live a long life. I hope he didn't suffer.
He will be missed for sure.......not many people would accomplish half as much as he did in a life time. My hat is off to him.
Will never forget the sound of his voice, "H-e-e-e-e-r-e's Johnnnyyyy!" .. and being such a participant and supporter of MDA right along with Jerry Lewis.
He will be missed ..
He played "2nd Fiddle" to Johnny in such a 1st Chair kind of way. I really liked the guy...
That is the nicest way of saying that Ms twehner!
Here's a link if anyone is interested in reading about his life .. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090623/ap_on_en_tv/us_obit_mcmahon
I just seen that on comcast home page..sad I liked the good ole Johnny and Ed team , as well as Doc,,all too young won't know what I mean. He was a funny, seemingly kind man
Here in Aus, it wasn't really front page news, but we did hear about it. I loved Ed's voice...quite sexy really!
Sad to see all the old greats fading out. I can't think in the future, who we will hold in such esteem as those greats from the past.
Rest In Peace Ed!
