so is anyone watching the playoff games?? the dh and i have been keeping track of the teams hoping this team wins that team looses....so we have our favorites of who we want OUR team to play. we LOVE LOVE LOVE the penguins!!!!

yes i am a crosby lover!!!! i have his powder blue jersey that i'm sportin right now and i can't wait to see those guys whoop the flyers again tonight!!!

i was SO mad i was supposed to go to south side with my friends for my bff's bachelorette party last night. guess where the pens were...south side....at our normal bar. yup...WITH the cup. yeah i could have touched the cup last night. *sigh* i could have met the 2009 stanley cup winners!!!!!

Both teams fought great. I just feel as if the Pens played better this year though threw out across on the board.  Check out the stats.....  I was actually expecting a game that was very close on the scoring.  They are both good teams.  

I hope and pray all members are healthy for next year; and may the best team win then again.  Though I'm glad Hossa scored "0" points after turning us down and saying he wanted to play for a winning team......I wish no harm on anyone.  Shame on anyone that does.  Dang.  

After 17 years.... Bo Wha Baby.  They really played there rear ends off and deserve it!

i read a lovely little post about hossa. i thought it was hilarious so i'll share.

Detroit: temporary residence of Marion Hossa, Hockey W hore.

i wonder if he'll come crawling back to the pens once we win the cup or if he'll go on a search for another team that may want him for a season.

did you see that save scuds made last night? lol from defense to goalie. that had me and hubby cracking up. but hey if the wings can do it than so can the pens.

As for Hossa, he turned down 35 million on a 5 year contract only to sign a 1 year contract with Detroit.  Who knows where he'll be next year.  Hmm....I don't believe he has scored 1 goal yet in the series anyhow.  
Besides, I'm happy with the guys we have signed on now, they are younger + good!  They are only going to get better.  The tough part I think will be playing in that old arena with those stupid boards.  Urgg.

As for blood.  Well I wouldn't want to see anyone hurt on either side.  Maybe just bruised and a little sore.  LOL

Looks like this year we may have the Super bowl along with the Cup.  hee hee hee.  I just Love the black and gold.
