Yeah, lets keep this a celebration and not the "P" topic...the two journalists have just been pardoned and get to come home, I am so happy for them !!
I am so very glad they are home, but as a mother, I question the sincerity of putting one's child's safety first in that she took an enormous risk at the stake of her daughter being without a mom. Just my two cents. C~
you are very very right, they were after a story, certainly not worth risking what they did. The issues in N.Korea are very serious, scary stuff, journalists and photographers take major risks all the time.
Ever see that movie Blood Diamond, brad pitt wow great film,,good example of risks these folks take to bring important issues to light.

i'm glad these ladies got to come home thats wonderful and that nothing horrific happened to them BUT plz read the whole story they entered Korea ILLEGALLY!! I thought maybe they were captured by the mafia or the bad people NO they were arrested for entering illegally!! and thats just really REALLY dumb!! Others countries are not like the US they dont have our laws our rules you mess with them and how they do things and thats what happens to you!! I have no idea why they would go w/out passport it makes zero sense! its really not hard to get one!! I'm glad they are ok but I hope to god they learned their lesson!
