don't have any idea why they were there, but I am so happy and thanking God that they are on thier way home with President Clinton
Yeah! I am so glad to hear that! Awesome! Its about time! Whoo Hoo!
Oh, was it those two girls in China? I hadn't heard anything. Oh, I hope so! It's good news!
yup April the two journalists one sister of Lisa Ling woooh hooo Im so happy I have prayed for them !!
latest up date they are in the plane w /clinton on the way home, President Clinton had to apologise on their behalf and admit they were wrong, bet his fingers was crossed behind his back, Seriously bless him, what a kind and brave humanitarian thing to do,
I knew slick Willie had it in em!
They are home !!!! Euna ran and hugged her 4? yr old girl and Laura ling wants some of moms home made soup, wonder how they were really treated,
April they where held in N korea not china,,,thats why clinton had to put his tail between his legs and give a fake apologie, hey didnt you post once when is it ok to lie? this would be an example when its for saving someones life .
I admire Clinton to the highest for this he did not have to do what he did.
i'm glad these ladies got to come home thats wonderful and that nothing horrific happened to them BUT plz read the whole story they entered Korea ILLEGALLY!! I thought maybe they were captured by the mafia or the bad people NO they were arrested for entering illegally!! and thats just really REALLY dumb!! Others countries are not like the US they dont have our laws our rules you mess with them and how they do things and thats what happens to you!! I have no idea why they would go w/out passport it makes zero sense! its really not hard to get one!! I'm glad they are ok but I hope to god they learned their lesson!
you are very very right, they were after a story, certainly not worth risking what they did. The issues in N.Korea are very serious, scary stuff, journalists and photographers take major risks all the time.
Ever see that movie Blood Diamond, brad pitt wow great film,,good example of risks these folks take to bring important issues to light.
I would not be brave enough to do what they did,
I am so very glad they are home, but as a mother, I question the sincerity of putting one's child's safety first in that she took an enormous risk at the stake of her daughter being without a mom. Just my two cents. C~
