Did anyone see Obama on the Jay Leno show and what he said about his bowling skills and how he compared them to the Special Olympics?

I saw right through the president just like looking through a glass who got us into a war based on false and/or phony intelligence and then sanctioned the use of torture & sexual humiliation & called it enhanced interrogation & fair & just treatment .
I also easily saw right through his trickle down economics & his reckless deregulation & how that would wreak havoc on our economy.
And I saw clearly his ignorance & his misfeasance & his malfeasance & how we would pay for it & I just look around & I see how we are paying for it.
I also pay much closer attention to actions & their consequences than I do to misspoken &, for the most part, inconsequential words but, that's just me.

I would not and do not put Obama on a pedestal but I do expect him to be more guarded than the average citizen about what comes out of his mouth. I can see thru him just like looking through a glass. He appears to be so busy making promises and being cool that he is not putting up his guard the way he should be, if he is going to be a person in the public on a regular basis. He will pay for his ignorance, watch and see.

I'm a long ways from putting the majority of this countries presidents on any sort of pedestal, Obama very much included. The office has seen everything from purgery to adultery, and anything in between. I don't call it disappointing, I'm just not surprised to see somebody make a mistake, and I'm certainly not out to lynch him over it.

For some reason I expected more out of the president of our country. I guess I will just have to lower my expectations and maybe I will not be disappointed again.

I didn't hear it, but from what others have said I'm guessing he's going to feel uncomfortable even thinking about using the words "Special" and "Olympics" in the same sentence again unless it's to be very, very, nice. So much for politics on Leno.

Personally, I feel that regrettable things have been said by the vast majority of people at some time or other, things said that they wish they could retract before the last syllable is finished. Anyone else ever felt like they wanted to find a rock to crawl under and hide?
