price of gas where you live

what is the price of gas where you live? i live in Berea, Kentucky and today the price was 2.99. at one end of town its 2.95 thats the cheapest around here in a long time.

When I told my husband to look at how cheap gas was as we were passing a station,  he said "That's not really cheap"
But I thought "Compared to $4.50 it is!!" which is what it was a few weeks ago.

Wow, I see a lot of other places where I would rather be buying gas. I live in southern Illinois and just today we hit $2.79.

How exciting.....pretty sad when we think that these kind of prices are good...they are almost affordable though!  ALMOST!!!

Wooptidoo!!!!!The politicians are behind this one. In the greater Cleveland, Ohio area suburbs, the gas rate is $2.59 a gallon.  And people were lined up burning up more gas while waiting for a pump. The rates wil go up after the election is over.. And yet everyone is so happy at the reduced rate. Let's not forget how much we've been screwed this past year.

I haven't forgotten that's why I said it was sad that I am excited over 2.89. When I started driving granted it was only 6 years ago gas was about 1.89 if I remember correctly.

Here in N.Y.C. it's $3.29 a gallon as of today and it's a big improvement over $4.79 a few weeks ago.

Hello Everyone:

Gas in Eatonton, Ga.   was $2.61 this afternoon.

Far cry from $5.09 3 weeks ago while up in Atlanta. Top it off, couldn't find any.

Figure that out if you can. I can't.
