what is yalls opinion on that im sorry but i dont believe it because this man claims that he read it on signs of a church and in the stars well if it was on a church why doesnt it say anything in the bible about it? Jesus will come back for us when its time and no one knows when hes comin back what do yall believe?

Well, it's obvious to me with all the world woes that the second coming has to be close. I believe that only the Lord knows when this will be. We cannot change God's plans. But, my hubby has been telling me for years he has thought it might be sometime in 2012 - so who knows! Of course, that's just his guess. LOL!!! I know that I TRY to live everyday so that when it happens, I can be standing by his side!

Any time they have a specific date, don't believe them. Jesus said even he did not have the date and time, only the Father in Heaven knew, not even the angels know. He did give us some warning signs to look for and then just said to always be ready. But he also warned us that there would be many false prophets who would claim to know these things, some of them would even claim to be the Christ, he said not to believe them. You will know when Jesus comes back. Somehow or another, everyone on Earth will know. Before that happens, the anti-christ is supposed to come, though. It's all real interesting. I did a study on Revelations and end times once. It is hard to understand because of all the symbolism but it's fascinating stuff.
You have a point and one I was just getting ready to make. Various groups, religions and other people have been talking about the end of the world since at least the 1800s. Back in the 1800s, there was a preacher who told his followers to sell their belongings because the end of the world was coming. He had a specific date and on that date, people gathered and waited on top of a hill. Of course it never happened and all of these people were broke and didn't have anywhere to go after this event.
I remember getting scared because it was predicted that the world would end 6/6/06...after that, I don't care what people say LOL we will all have to find out and see, the way the world is today, it wouldnt surprise me if God came back tomorrow. All that matters to me it I know that I am going to be going with Him. :D
I seriously think it's all funny... They have been saying the world is going to end "any day now" since I was a small child! That scared the *chit* out of me, I remember not sleeping for days and days. Now when I hear my sons grandma tell him that I tell her it already ended years and years ago!!

ya yall are right im not worried about it but i would wish that everyone would have a chance of going to heaven its time people put there predictions aside and pick up there bible to see what it tells them over the years people have lost there faith and that is truly a sad thing i grew up Luthern and still am and when times get like this everyone looks for the next best thing to believe in other than God and ive had hard times but i never dropped my faith in the lord maybe one day before the world ends people will start believing again i hope truly for their sake they do

If you are of the chridstain faith, they have believd right right christ was crusified that the second coming was going to happen.. it says jesus said"the second coming will comre in the twinkling of an eye, and even does not know when it will happen.. Onlu God himself knows when the raprute will happen. If you look at the world today and all that the bad is going on, i can see how some christains and non christains can beleiev it is not far off. they have thought tht hitler was thedevil, some beleive that some of the popes are the anti-christ.. my own personal feelings is that if you are a true believ christaian you are nit relly wirried when it will happen, so like alienshadow said thee is no need to strees over it cause when it happens it oing to happen.. and those of us that are christian will be in a happy place the ones left behind have seven years of pure hell on earth, till Chist leads his army back and cast statn in to the fire forever and evere, and a schridtians thats the faith we have to have

I think that his predictions leave a lot of room for interpretation. At least the ones I've heard. Some might take an event that took place and try to fit it in to one of his predictions that MIGHT be referring to that event and since they're looking for it, it makes sense to them. I hope it doesn't happen just yet, but either way we should all prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus.

Actually if you google end times 2012 you will come up with some pretty interesting things. The Mayans believe the world will end in 2012. I think that's because that's when their calender ends.

The Bible says he will come like a thief in the night so apparently he will take many by surprise. The Bible does warn us, however, to be prepared all the time for his coming and Jesus, himself, gave us signs to look for and the prophesies that would be fulfilled, which by the way, most of the prophesies have already been fulfilled so he could come back any day now.
