My husband has a small Mantis tiller, I am sure you have seen these on TV and magazines. He loves it. It does the job, tough enough to work the dirt, but small enough to fit just about anywhere. It still gives a workout not as bad as the large ones though.
I would love to go out in my yard and do the hard work. I have Fibro and I cannot lift and tug and all that. I was the one that did all the beds and the swimming pool. Now,I ask for help and I am ignored. I have asked more than once to clean out the pond and move some shrubs to a different area. My husband likes to do yard work but, he wants to do what he likes, and not what looks good. I am the type, I won't touch a thing if I can't do it the right way. I get soooo aggrevated.
My comelias are starting to bloom now. I'll try and get pictures to post. I also have some bulbs to plant, I am not sure what they are.... (crocus???), I think. I want some daffodeils, they are so pretty when they bloom in January and February. I also want some herbs readily available when I cook. I have some basil and parsley in pots. I want to do herb pots, so I can move them from the weather. That basil smells so good on patio. I cut some and put them in water, my whole house smells that sweetness.
Let me know what you are planning for your garden.
Have fun in the dirt!

I miss having a garden with fresh veggies!!! The rabbits are taking over!
My back doesn't love the digging anymore...spent lots of time bending over while doing the planting, etc....not the best way to do it!!!
However....the plants were sure pretty to look at. I spent lots of $ one year going to nurserys for hibiscus plants, poppies (giant ones) and russian sage's,and other things I couldn't pronounce. They are all gone now :-(((
I was tempted to let my whole yard be full of flowers....wildflowers!
Oh well....I can admire other gardens & the photo's!!!
:-))
