Perhaps look into the books by Dr Elizabeth Vliet. Or look at her web page.

hi mary
i was on climactron for about 20 years they quit making it and the doctors for 2 years now have been insisting i use pills, creams or gels,i have tried 15 different products,i have no ovaries by the way had a complete hystectomy at 24 years old, anyway i am on this estrogel and i just can't stop vibrating,my body also recated to all the other stuff,my doctors just keep saying there is nothing to replace the climactron but i noticed you said you took off-label testosterone and do you know if this vibrating stops, can't handle it,which is why i went to the search,i also have never heard of those pellets mentioned on the previous comment,i will have to look it up,if you know about them any  comment would be appreciated.thanks.

Hi Mary,
Sorry,I havnt talked to you in awhile, ive been so busy with my animals! I work at a shelter, so they keep me pretty busy there!!
Anyway, the progesterone didnt work for me, it gave me such a hot feeling inside, that my husband almost took me to the hospital, but luckily it subsided. The mls were very high as well, it was like 150. I took it vaginally, but it just made me feel so horrid, i have stopped taking it.
But the estrogel  still seems to be working good, so far anyway. Im very interested on what ive heard about testerone and estrogen pellets,  and im going to ask my doctor when I go back this month about getting on them, and I was wondering what you thought of them as well. Ive not heard anything about them until I read about them on this forum. But they sound like a good thing.
Hope to hear from you soon, and Im sorry its taken me ao long to get back with you, and you've been so helpful, I also want to say thanks!!! :-)

Just in case you cannot find the info (still learning how to navigate some of the newer features on this site) go to Journals and then click on "comments" or I think at this point it says "3 comments." I gave pretty general information on estrogel and on Progesterone as well as my opinion, so I just wanted to mention that this information was posted in case someone else wants the information.

Hi,

Sorry you are not feeling well. Good for you to be proactive in looking for answers. I did write more about this on my journal response to you on my profile. We do deserve to feel as well as we can safely. I am not a doctor ( I work in Mental health) but I hope you found some *hope* in my response.

I just saw your post here so I wanted to add a few things, but have to leave the house in a few minutes...I wanted to add, though, that aside from the Progesterone (which I go into great detail in the journal message) I have had a ton of luck with the testosterone, which I have prescribed for me "off-label."
