I'M ALSO EXPERIENCING VERY SENSITIVE AND WRINKLY FINGERS. WE'RE THE SAME AGE. I STILL DO HAVE MY FEMALE ORGANS AND DO NOT TAKE ANY HORMONES. I'LL BE SEEING MY INTERNEST THIS WEEK AND WILL RELAY HER THEORIES REGARDING SAME.
Wrinkling and sensitivity of the fingertips is not a typical problem that occurs with menopause. There are other conditions that could be looked into such as Raynauds Syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome and others. There should be no need to take hormones for this problem or to believe hormones would be helpful, but talk with your internist and see if he/she has additional suggestions.
