I realize this post was written years ago.
But there is hope to menopause issues.
Here is the good news. I went through menopause at 50 years old. I had hot flashes for 10 days and made my mind I was not going to do this for years. Because I had been using the NAET method for allergies. I asked the chiropractor to use for menopause. It worked.
Try alternative medicine NAET with a chiropractor. This is a higher level of accupunture.
There is a DETOX protocol to clear the body of allergies. Once the DETOX protocol is completed the chiropractor will be able to help you with specific issues.
Another technique is BRT, body restoration technique also done by a chiropractor. Is very similar to NAET.
It may take effort to locate a chiropractor that can do either NAET and/or BRT, but so worth it.
I am now 59 years old and have NEVER had another hit flash since 50.
Both NAET and BRT can help the body build tolerance for more than allergies and menopause. I have used for issues such as rashes, viruses, bacteria, lung and cough, blood sugar, thyroid, CELIAC disease, arthritis. Information, metals, etc.
Good luck
It seems I'm having the lesser known symptoms – hives, swollen lips, and heartburn. Each of these have their own discussion groups, that are not typically found on comprehensive list of menopause symptoms; not sure why as there are plenty of people who seem to experience them
Hi
I found out I was menopausal at 29. I knew that's what was happening although doctors didn't believe me until tests were taken and proven. What are your main symptoms?
I am going through perimenopause and i have almost all those symtoms ,but i started using black strap molasses and it is great i am not feeling those symtoms anymore it has everything in it. From calcium to magnesium it has everything thanks be to God that i discovered this product you just take a tablespoon each morning. I guess you all can try it , It is also very cheap.
I also get twitching...Im not sure if its from anxiety or premenopause. Ive been taking b12 sublingually for a week and ahalf and they are almost gone now...but still get them behind my knees and my feet sometimes....Muscles ache too.
Hi all i'm 43 and am waiting for results of blood tests to see if i'm pre menopausal. I haven't got hot flashes (i don't think) or burning tongue or tinnitus but the rest of the symptoms are certainly there. i can't cope with the mental fuzziness or crying for no reason. My poor husband really is perplexed even though he is very supportive and my two girls are treading on egg shells god bless them (my two sons are better off they grew up and left home). I'm worried that the blood tests won't show anything as i've read they are misleading
Are you on HRT. A lot of these symptoms, such as the feet burning, swelling, etc., I had from the use of the HRT as side effect.
I know all about the burning tongue. Did ever any of you also get the burning toes? A burning inside the toes, not a skin burning, but a burning from within. Sometimes its so bad that I have to put my feet into cold water.
Does anyone have nerve twitches- not the rubber band type of snap but pulsating nerve endings in your tummy, chest, face, eye? I've had these for a year now and seem to be worse at night.
I also have the heart palpitations, migraines, tinnitus, and anxiety for no reason at all.
I haven't had a period for over a year. I've gone off hrt's because the Activella is what STARTED the nerve twitches.
I want you all to join my new club-- I HATE MENOPAUSE club. And...why do they call it menopause...shouldn't it be meno STOP. LOL.
Hope all of you have a great day!
The symptoms of menopause are similar to many other things as well and one of those is thyroid disease. I'd suggest doing a research on the symptoms of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.
I've taken the list above and kept the ones which could be included in thyroid disease.

I"m 28, and I was reading a lot of those symptons above. I have a lot of those. Can I be going through menopause this young? A lot of them.. Can someone give me some insite?
I don't know how long menopause symptoms last. Mine started about 7 years ago, with going from very irregular periods to being so regular you can set a calendar by me. I don't mind the hot flashes so much, but the memory loss - I too put roasts in cupboards at times - and the crying at the drop of a hat bothers me alot. And yes, it seems as each year goes by, I too get more symptoms. Oh joy!
ive been going through the hot flashes for 20 years still have them .
Hello, Well I to was diagnosed in menopause just a little over a week ago. I am 44 and have had irregular periods since the age of 37. I had no period from Sept. 2006-March 2007, GREAT! But this was before I start becoming an entire different person. Well my period came on again each month , it was suppose to be on August 11th, not yet. My doctor said my period should stop anytime now. I have all of the symptoms except feeling that something is crawling on me,vagina dryness and depression. The reason that I am in menopause I was diagnosed with between (stage III & stage IV) breast cancer a year and a half next month. I since have taken my second pet/ct scan which shows no sign of the cancer, the pet/ct scan was taken from head to mid thigh( thank god ). I have been through chemo every two weeks , blood work every ten days and radiation everyday and surgery and herceptin , in which I am currently still on. The cost of herceptin is $ 22,000 per year to treat cancer patients.I cannot take anything for menopause, not because I have breast cancer . But, because there is to much her2 in the breast which means that I have to take every symptom of menopause....Does anyone know how much longer that I should go through menopause or give me some sort of idea.
cheers now we now what we have got to look forward to/are enjoying at this moment!. Very useful.Helps especially the ants crawling, i was about to change my washing powder.dawn
