perimenapause

I am taking progesterone pills to bring progesterone and estrogen back in the right ratio. My doctor said if she balances the hormones it will help the anxiety depression awful headaches and other symtoms of perimanapause.
Has anyone else done this? Has anyone else gone through this with perimanapause?

oh another thing....get them to check your thyroid. When the hormones decide to act ugly, they usually do it in tandem....

Wow, I think it is great that your dr is testing for this. I am having these problems and my just wrote me script for estrace 0.5, says it is like a BCP dose, so it won't hurt.

I have decided to get some progesterone creme to see if it will help with some of the symptoms I am having, mainly INSOMNIA!! for 2.5 years........this has caused my memory to be shot. I hope it resolves when I get some sleep.
