Enlarged Lymph node back of right side of neck

Hi I'am a 36 yr old male and notice a small lump in the back of my neck right side about 3 weeks ago. Have been to my doctor he did not seem to concern but ran a full blood work came back ok. My question is I go to the gym 5 x week and noticed it after i did shoulder shrugs the next day cause i was sore. Could that have caused it to get swollen I'm a little nervous cause i'am getting older and worry its limphomia I do not have any thing else wrong but dont know how long it takes to feel symtoms any info would be great.

I had the same thing about 1 year ago. I had a series of lymphnodes around my neck and went to the doctor to ask about it. He seemed to think that it was the result of some virus or infection that I had recently but ran blood work anyway, which turned out fine. Were you sick recently? It may be the result of some sort of infection. If you're worried, you should see the doctor either way, your health isnt anything to fool around with.

I was at the doctor and like I said he did not seem to concern its only one and is on the back side right near my hairline. He did a full bloodwork as well as HIV came back negative. The only thing is I did notice it after shoulder shrugs like I said it could have been there before and did not realize it I only worry cause its going on a month but no change in size. I dont have any other sumtoms like i said in good health and go to the gym 5x week. But after reading more and more feel like i have other issues lol. The only thing I guess I'm worried about is lypmhonia but should that have maybe come out on blood work?

yes it would have shown in bloods as raised wcc but you do get that with an infection too so they would give antibiotics and if still raised they would investigate x x
