Excercise with suspected injuries

Good Day

So I have a bulge to the right side of my groin for couple months. Sometimes the bulge is noticeable, sometimes it is not.

Pain comes and goes, maybe once a week, lasting 30 mins to a few hours

Usually pain is mild, sometimes 8 or 9 out of ten

Pain sky rocketed to 10 out of 10 for about half an hour, only once then  back to normal

Done investigative scans and physical examination, showing no hernia

I suspect i have a "sports hernia" which is actually not a "Hernia"

But the only thing is the requirement for a sports hernia is pain during excercise but i dont have pain during excercise

My specialist is closed now due to christmas holidays etc

Just wondering if i can continue excercising if i dont experince pain during excercise??

any other advice?

Thanks

I'm sorry this is so late, but I would limit my exercises since you don't know what you have going on.

I hope you get answers.

If you can get a picture of the lump when it's visible, that might help the doctors.
