Freaked out what could this be?

I'm going to cut right to the chase and say that I slept with a girl a few years ago and have been suffering ever since. It started out as a slight irratation  at the tip or last inch of my penis. Than after sometime went on I got a bit of a burning down my legs and also pins and needle type feeling down my legs and in my hands and feet. I was very worried at that time. Also felt flu type symptoms, sweaty and generally just not well. Now finally I have very bad brain fog and it gives me very bad anxiety, I actually feel like I  getting dementia the way my mind goes blank. I believe this is all connected to sleeping with this girl, it's right after that when one thing after another starter going wrong.  I have tried some cipro antibiotics for about 3 or 4 days that's all the doctor gave me. To me that seems very short amount of time but I'm not a doctor and trust he knows what he is doing. Can anyone help what this could be or what I can do next to possibly help my self?

Im going through a similar situation. Had a protected encounter and shortly afterwards had flu like symptoms that lasted 3 days, was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, muscle and joint pain, hives, brain fog, weight loss. Doctors have run all kinds of tests and all is normal. Everything from my GP to my Rheumatologist. Ive even gone out and have run series of STD tests and all is negative. Only thing that helps me is Gabapentin for the pain. Keep in touch.

lifeslesson Your situation is not his situation so you should start your own thread instead of hijacking this one. Your diagnosis is colitis and anyone can get the flu so it isn't clear what your post is asking.  Is this the same situation you posted about on the other forums?
Hi there.  Ulcerative colitis is a diagnosis all on its own and doesn't need or have to be associated with std's in any way.  I've had it as a monogamous married woman!  Hang in there!
Thanks for the ideas but I really don't think I have ulcerative colitis. My wieght loss was on purpose, I have muscle and joint pain aswell as brain fog but I believe those symptoms can be associated with a very wide variety of conditions/diseases.   I'm almost thinking of asking my doctor for a months worth of cipro and see if that helps, he already gave me 3 or 4 days worth a while back that did nothing .  I have always wondered how antibiotics could have even really worked in such a short time period.

On the std forum you say this happened in 2011, and you were tested negative for std. No one can diagnose these diverse symptom claims from here, but some of them could be in your imagination since you said there that drinking sugary drinks makes them worse - Coke can't make these things happen. Perhaps a second opinion from a different doc will determine which of the symptoms are real and a go forward plan to deal with them.

Yes I have been racking my brain for far to long about this. At the time I felt like sugary type drinks my make me feel worse. How ever I don't feel that way anymore because I have tried cutting sugar completely for three months now. At first I was feeling a bit better and have lost 40 pounds wich is great however it did not help with my symptoms long term.  They seem to come in waves and can last for week's of very bad symptoms.  The reason I thought I would try yet again on these forums is A:  because  some time has passed and what can it hurt? And B: you never know maybe somone else is on here feeling the same that might have some clue about this.  I have also had a second opinion on it with no luck but thanks.  Also I wouldn't have the will power to even keep some bogus symptom disease going for years. For what? I sure haven't gained anything by saying all this for so long. I have children and would like to be around and healthy for awhile longer that's all.
