I don't know much about the things that you are asking, so hope someone else who is familiar with the concerns you raise, picks up the thread and helps you. You could post in the STD forum.
What I do know is that when wounds take time to heal, it may be due to uncontrolled sugar levels in the blood, either from glucose intolerance or diabetes.
It would be a good idea to see your doctor to arrange for you to have a glucose test and a blood test for HBA1C which will show the level of glucose in your blood over a period of 3 months. This gives an average read out of the glucose over that period of time.
You do have to be careful with all the drugs that you and your wife are using - I don't need to tell you that they are addictive. Even the morphine.
It isn't easy managing pain and it depends on the level of pain that is suffered and the underlying cause. There are strategies that can help with managing pain (depending what is causing this) as well as gentle exercise, hydrotherapy, physio, acupuncture etc.
Wish you all the best in getting "clean" from the drugs as I know you may get setbacks - get the right help to get you through.
I still feel you need urgent medical attention with regard to your penis.
Best wishes.
I will do that if it doesn't get better, thank you for concern. sorry if I seemed joking at the end. this is a serious question, all 100% no joke. Just trying to lighten our mood on our end. We have both got blood work papers to take too the lab, for a bunch of stuff, STI's and how fertile we are(all the stuff needed to get IVF done).
Oh I forgot to mention, she just told me she had HPV when she was 24, she is now 40. She just told me they lasered her whole cervix, she said they called it a face lift? correct me if that's wrong term.
So is it possible for me to still catch HPV? is that the likely thing that's causing those?
In the last year I have started to heal very slowly, things like cuts, punctures etc. Also, almost all my wounds have scarred. I am an IV drug user and my track marks are showing up as scars within months, as to where my first 2 tracks took 5 years to get.
I've had hep C for almost 7 years now, with a fairly good liver. Not sure if I should post this in another thread but, would the hep c be the cause of slow healing, and easy scarring?
I'm not sure if what ever is causing the slow healing to happen if it is also causing this but, I used to do one shot of morphine a day, in the morning, and I would be all good until the next morning. If I did more in the day time I would not feel anything, but now I am having to shoot up as many times as 8 a day. What would be causing this as well? of course the main problem here is my penis, so if you are short of time, only really need an estimate on that.
thank you everyone who answers.
I am a pharmaceutical drug addict but not a bad person, I have very good morals. I don't steal to feed my habit and such. I plan to start detox Saturday, and quit for good. It's just taking to much of my life away, can't get out of bed with out it. my wife got me off stimulants, and we are heavy into the opiates, mainly just morphine and dilaudid. but I am sick of being addicted, she needs them for legitimate pain, but I am done with it. I feel like I am stronger person mentally now and can begin a normal life, like it once was.
Make an urgent appointment to see your doctor or the GUM clinic.
Don't mess with this.
