Lumps on shaft

So it all started at the start of December. Slept with a girl (used protection) and had a small sore on the back of my penis from rough sex - this had happened before so no major concern. I was going gym regularly (2 x daily) and showering a lot (up to 3 x a day - I realise now this was a bad idea).

I then got a bad case of jock itch that spread up the crease on my thighs and into my belly button. I also developed several lumps on my shaft that had no evidence of white heads or blisters.

I started using an antifungal which got rid of the rash on my thighs and my stomach and left 2 purple/red bumps at the top of the crease towards my right hip and the bumps on my shaft.

I started using a different antifungal on my shaft and eventually by around the start of Jan it had all cleared bar a scab on my shaft and the two bumps on my hip. I then started seeing a different girl, we had unprotected sex several times over a two week period. The day after we first slept together I noticed 2 small spots on my shaft - they felt hard and I presumed that they were pimples and would work themselves out. 2 days later these were now large swollen lumps - much like if had before and the scab had turned into the same. We had sex Again  (this time ptotected) and exactly the same thing happened further down towards the base of my shaft (2 small, hard spots that became swollen and red).

I used antifungal and have been for around 3 weeks now with varying results. 2 of the lumps have shrunken to small red bumps, 2 opened in to sores that weeped clear fluid and then turned into red bumps and 1 has remained pretty much the same - this is the only 1 that gives discomfort.

Any ideas what's going on?

My first concern was herpes but from what I read I'm less convinced as the bumps came on the day after I'd slept with the girl and they're considerably spaced out - 2 at the base, 3 on top and 1 on the back and they've never resembled blisters filled with brown fluid. Also I feel if this was the case they'd have gone by now as it's been nearly a month since they appeared.

I read somewhere that small cuts made during sex can become infected with yeast and cause these kind of symptoms so if this is the case could it be that it's just not responding too well to the OTC antifungals I've tried?

Any advise would be great as i can't make it to the docs for a couple of weeks due to work and the fact it's hanging around is making me freak out.

Also any idea what the bumps on my hip are? Could they be dormant yeast infection or something?

Unlikely yeast - should have been gone by now and really never looks like what you've described.  Do you have hair growing on your shaft?  Ingrown hairs will do that, and condoms are good at shearing off hairs, especially with "rough sex."  Then they get ingrown and take a long time for that to resolve.  And, BTW, ditto if you shave your pubes. You are getting around.  So also consider lice.
