Urethritis due to Staph Aureus

I've been diagnosed with Urethritis due to Staph Aureus. Doc prescribed Doxycycline for 10 days. I'm on day 7 and I still feel a mild burning sensation after urination, which goes away after one hour or so. I also feel here and there some feeling to pee more. But it's better than it was before the antibiotics. Would say 50% better. Anyway, should I still feel something after 7 days of antibiotics? I heard that urethritis takes some time to heal, about 1 to 2 weeks, is this correct?
