You are about to have your 9th kiddo? Wowza. I'm not going to make a joke about needing prozac, I promise. But that IS a lot. why are you going off? I'm just curious. I think that is the biggest issue doctors have is that people do well and then decide they don't need their SSRI anymore when part of doing well IS the SSRI. But it is worth trying to not take it. If it doesn't work out, there is ZERO shame in taking it again or another one in the class of medication. Did you wean off? Sounds like it since you used the word 'wean'. So, you slowly decreased the dose to zero. It takes a bit of time for the brain to readjust. I'd give it as long as it takes to see if it works which is 4 to 6 weeks. If after 6 weeks, you are still having these issues, I'd then describe them as symptoms. Snappy and agitated and not yourself are part of anxiety a lot of the time. Now I"m really reading and I see you have been completely off zoloft for a month. So, give it two more weeks. If you still feel this way, it's time to consider what is next. Can you exercise a little (that really helps mental health a ton). Do therapy? Get proper rest? Or would it be a good idea to try zoloft again or another medication? Some people just do need it to feel their best. It's okay
