Hi,
There are many triggers for migraine such as heat, stress, weather changes, dehydration, fragrances, odors, food ( citrus fruits, preserved or processed meat, chocolate and caffeinated beverages, etc). A headache journal will help determine the triggers of her headache also. As pregnancy hormones stabilize, the headaches are expected to decrease. Regular prenatal consult is highly recommended. Take care and regards.
Thanks for your kindness and support. one thing I have observed that the headache is only when she awake from sleep at 6:00 AM till 9:00 AM daily so can it be a tension headache? the rest day she is fine. I really accept that one of the reason can be hormone changes so is there any remedies to decrease the pain or foods that can avoided.
Hi,
How is your wife? It is good that all the tests done were normal. Possible consideration is from primary headaches such as migraine or tension headache. Migraine headaches are usually associated with triggers such as hormone changes which is observed during pregnancy. Further evaluation by a neurologist may also be done for proper diagnosis and management. It is not recommended to take any medication, that is not prescribed by her doctor at this time, because not all medicines are safe to take. Take care and do keep us posted.
